"Project Management for Professionals"

3-Day Class-based Short Course (3 CPD Points)

Engineering Council of South Africa validation number SAIEE-0534-V

This course is open to any professional in the engineering and built environment who is interested in acquiring essential knowledge and skills in project management while earning three CPD points. The contents of this short course deal largely with project management principles, tools and techniques as applied in practice and illustrated in the various areas of the “Project Management Body of Knowledge” (PMBOK) of the Project Management Institute and the “Competency Baseline” (ICB) of the International Project Management Association. This is a practical course which encompasses project management perspective, planning and implementation.  It was developed by professionals with many years experience in management, engineering and the built environment.

This class-based course stretches over three consecutive days and is offered in the tranquil surroundings of the 4-star De Doornkraal Historic Country House, a boutique hotel on the Garden Route in the picturesque town of Riversdale in the Western Cape.  Riversdale is on the N2 highway only 1 hour's drive from George airport and 2 hours 40 minutes from Cape Town airport. Alternatively, professionals can enrol for a course conducted at Cranefield’s campus in Midrand, its other lecturing centres, or you may arrange an in-house programme for your organisation. The De Doornkraal-based course is highly recommended (to view De Doornkraal Historic Country House boutique hotel see www.dedoornkraal.com).
