Cranefield College offers two CPD courses, each earning three CPD points:

"Project Management for Professionals" (Module Mα) 

"Project Management: Leading Creating, Implementing and Improving" (Module M1)

Two 3-Day Class-based Courses (3 CPD Points Each)

The first CPD course above, "Project Management for Professionals", is equivalent to Module Mα (Project Management: Perspective, Planning and Implementation), as described in the full Cranefield Prospectus.

The second CPD course above is equivalent to Module M1 (Project Management: Leading, Creating, Implementing and Improving), as described in the full Cranefield Prospectus.

After completion of the two CPD courses, candidates will be able to continue with the two remaining modules of Cranefield's Advanced Diploma in Project Management, to obtain this qualification (at the new NQF Level 7).

The Engineering Council of South Africa validation numbers for the two CPD courses are SAIEE-0534-V and SAIEE-0896-V, respectively. These courses are offered in series and are open to any professional in the engineering, built environment, and other professions who is interested in acquiring essential knowledge and skills in project management while earning 3 CPD points for each.

The contents of these short courses deal largely with project management principles, tools, techniques, and strategy as applied in practice and illustrated in the various areas of the “Project Management Body of Knowledge” (PMBOK) of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the “Competency Baseline” (ICB) of the International Project Management Association. They also prepare candidates for the PMP Certification of PMI. Both are practical courses.

Each class-based course stretches over three days and is offered on the Cranefield College Campuses in Midrand, Cape Town, and East London.
