The purpose of this study is to prove the correlation between on time delivery of projects and the delays caused due to ineffective decision-making. This is done within a motor manufacturing environment and discusses inter alia, the Six sigma process, Value–Up, high performance teams, Hoshin Kanri and value fast. This research is on the Value-Up system and is done in a phenomenological way by means of focus group research.
The results are portrayed in a quantified manner. Stated as a problem, the question is: “how can cash flow be improved and mid -term strategic objectives be obtained by high performance teams, improved delivery time and decision-making in projects?” The aim of this study is therefore to explore the factors that might influence managerial decision-making in a car manufacturing environment with high performance teams, in order to positively impact delivery time and the specified quality parameters for successful implementation of strategic business projects.
